So the Jays have six hits off the monster. All of them save for one of Vladdy's would be a HR in every other ball park. 4 of them turned in to singles. Thats wild haha.
Correction. 7 off the wall. 4 doubles and 3 singles. 6 of them would've been a HR in every other stadium.

Holy ####. I thought I literally saw the cover come off that ball hit by Vladdy. Hit the sign above the Monster with a ton of velocity. In. Sane.
He's the best hitter in baseball and it's not even close.

remember, the wall is 310. Most parks are more like 375
|

Clearly, decisively, the best hitter in baseball this season
He is #1 in the majors in about 8 or 9 hitting stats. Off the top of my head without looking:
HR
RBI
OBP
SLG
OPS
total bases
avg with RISP
and I am sure there are others

Yep. 310 in the corner. Most are 320-325. The alleys are more in line with other stadiums. Baseball Savant has a feature where you can check the distances in other ball parks. And the monster is stealing a ton of HR's from the Jays.
The Savant page for this game is incredible. The Jays have 13 hits over 100mph. Including 5 over 110. Its just bananas.

I have said all year (and all last year) that Montoyo is too quick with the hook on the starters, but you have to take Stripling out here. He isn't fooling anyone this inning.
