WOW.

Incredible action, and what a save by Fleury.

Still feels like Colorado ties this.

Vegas down 3-0 would have made me forget my playoff pools are ruined because of TO.

I don’t hate them because I feel they were gifted a top team, I hate them because they are in our division, are significantly better than us, beat us a number of times and are the epitome of how stupid NHL GMs are.

It can be called jealousy but expansion teams shouldn’t be powerhouses right away. If they weren’t in our division I think I would still hate them cause I actually think I will end up liking the Kraken, even if they are good right away.

Well, you’re never in trouble until you lose at home, and no one has yet.

Based on the d-man's reaction, I'd say it was definitely poking out the other side. Can't get much closer.

Who’s calling this game? He’s awesome- he sounds like Bob Cole.

Awesome game and win for Vegas. Being in that building would be electric.

Bartlett and Galley. They did the Isles/ Bruins game last night and apparently weren't even present at the game today but calling it from toronto

I went to game 1 of the Western Conference finals in 2018 (Vegas vs Winnipeg) and it was the best live hockey atmosphere I've ever been to.
I was blown away.

Dude can sing the game. Unbelievable he wasn’t even in the building to do that.

I really dislike Vegas, but god dam that was an entertaining game. My Wife was even into it. That’s saying something.

The loudest, most electric hockey game I've ever experienced was game 6 against Detroit in 2004 at the 'Dome. Just an unbelievable atmosphere. When Gelinas scored in OT I jumped so high out of my seat, I nearly fell into the row in front of me.

Same.

I swear I was fully in the air before Gelinas made contact with the puck because it was directly in my sightline and time seemed to slow down for it.

That game was crazy, it was so loud throughout the whole game you could barely yell something into the ear of the person next to you.

My seats are just behind the Flames' defensive net, over the right-shoulder of the goalie, first row of the second tier.

I was at that game with my youngest sister. When the Flames regrouped in their defensive end prior to that rush (far end of the rink), I muttered something to her like: "Here comes a goal". (Only time I ever got credit as an older brother for having some degree of insight on anything...)

That whole sequence (from Gelinas crashing the net initally, to Iggy hooking that puck out front on net, to Gelinas scoring) unfurled right in front of us. I still see it clear as day...

The other '04 memory that sticks out as much in my mind is that Gelinas' goal in GM 6 against the Sharks where Conroy deliberately won the faceoff (just outside the offensive zone) forward and Gelinas hesitated on a slap-shot before shooting five-hole on Nabakov. (Also in my end of the rink.)

(EDIT:

FWIW, AC has uploaded video of both.

So I only caught the third, and I am sort of pulling for Vegas because Colorado can slide into Hell for all I care.

Yeah, they're a great team, but I can still dislike them.

On that note though, it was weird seeing a full building and, is anyone else somewhat concerned about the number of Flames jerseys in the crowd? Quite a few that I noticed...

I’ve seen a game at T-Mobil and I have to say it’s the best arena I’ve ever been in, in pretty much every aspect: seating, atmosphere, access in and out, entertainment around the arena (and not just because it’s on the strip), variety of eating options within the arena, and the show they put on just for the game. Their fans are decent too.
