When Price is on he defies physics somehow. Pucks hit him then die, he doesn't seem to move much but is always in the right position. Messes with my head.

What's worse. getting swept, or blowing a 3-1 series lead and losing in game 7?

Not saying the Habs will win the cup but this is the reason why it was ridiculous to expect Treliving to give up on the playoffs and tell Sutter to play kids and Dominique until they were mathematically eliminated.
The leafs choked. Habs didn’t win it. They will be out soon
In half an hour I have to make a work call to the head of my department, who is an avid Leafs fan.

Sutter has them starting training early for a reason. Current Flames struggled this season to keep pace with added games with the same teams. Good chance we couldn't keep up in the playoffs. We also had some injuries to key players.

I’m betting he’s targeting a few specific guys. Dube, maybe Tkachuk and Gaudreau. Maybe Andersson. Maybe Valimaki.

Oh I don't disagree at all. I still think whoever comes out of the North will get smoked but this year had the easiest path to the Stanley cup in a long time. I just think that people were mad about something that was never going to happen. There was a loud contingent super pissed off about draft position. Ultimately it would have been better to lose out draft wise but that was not going to happen unless the Flames rode Dominique and played prospects.

Indeed. But the post to which I was responding was taking for granted that Perry is a clutch player who would improve the Flames lineup. He never will.

I bet he does too. From Johnny's comments it sounds like starting/maintaining training was a bit voluntary. My guess is that Sutter will have someone specifically working with them.
