He keeps people in line. Graves seemed to be laughing about it in the scrum after the hit, and that royally pissed off LV. It's one thing to not want to fight, but when someone is laughing it's pretty agitating.

Who knows what was said to him though. Guys smile and laugh all the time during scrums. Threats are made. Not a reason to "keep a person in line" by kneeling on their head while they're down. That's a dangerous, intent to injure type of play and everyone knows what Reaves was on there to do.

Not a chance, IMO.

Colorado is deep with talent, no question. But the primary reason that they are as good as they are is that their best player leads by example, and carries them to a higher level.

McDavid NEVER does that. He makes incredible individual plays, but he doesn't elevate his teammates anywhere nearly as much as MacKinnon does.
