In a bar somewhere in London Frank is crying in a pint.

Deserved it.

To think United signed Pogba and his drama in the same summer for 60m more than Chelsea got Kante. Along with Makalele one of the most underrated player out there. A big game player.

Guess that's that. Kane, Haaland, Grealish, Rice and Sancho to city next week.

How terrible of a manager was he? You might say he was the Geoff Ward of football. Tuchel, OTOH...

Overall that was actually a fun game to watch as neutral.

Granted, there were times my eyes were directed to the skies in search of that Meteor, but other than that/

And thats even with City being severely limited in scoring chances. It was a pretty wide open match.

I cant even begin to discuss how phenomenal Kante is. Its one of those things leftover from my time coaching, but sometimes there is a player that you dont often notice all the little things they're doing.

But they are everywhere.

Even the commentators today...Kante is like Batman.

- "City are going down the wing and....theres Kante with the tackle and a nice outlet pass!"

- "Theres Kante! There he is again!"

- "Critical tackle from....Kante? Where did he come from?"

The man is amazing. One of my favourite players. If there was a way to steal him from Chelsea in the trunk of my car so he could play for Liverpool I'd consider it.

He did a lot, but that one tackle on KDB from the back was just perfect. Got all of the ball and I don’t even think he brushed him, which given the angle he took is unbelievable!

As happy as I am right now I just can't stop thinking about DeBruyne. That was such a nasty collision and he was legitimately messed up. Had to be helped down three or four steps to get to the room.

You never like to see that even if it's a guy on the opposing side.

I know Rudiger stepped into him on purpose for a Professional Foul, but I dont think he intended that.

Either way though, City just didnt create anything.

I thought Rudiger got him with the shoulder - no clash of heads, right? I thought Rudiger was faking to avoid a card, or did I miss it?

Rudiger got carded for that hit though didnt he?

I didnt see the replay so I dont know what happened, I initially thought it was just cynical contact that you see all the time, a player committing an professional foul and taking the card.

But De Bruyne looked like he got hit by a truck, which I was not expecting.

I hate those fouls.

I know its cynical and simplistic to just say 'if you take a player out of the game you should be out of the game too' but there are times when you can see why people come to those beliefs.

I think he was carded and that was when the ref helped him up and carded him at the same time?

Yes Rudiger got yellow carded for it. It's another failure of VAR for not intervening.

Here is the replay
