Just... why. Why do that. Ridiculous.

Some games stay close for a long time and you get the sense that the team that's leading has let the trailing team hang around too long and a tie game is inevitable. This game has the opposite feel, that the Panthers have pressed for a while but haven't been able to break through, and the Lightning are just going to build on that lead inevitably. This might be the time.

Dumb penalty by Benny…but also, how do they ignore the high stick?

Good grief do I want Eichel on the Flames. To have someone who can fire a one-timer the way Stamkos just did would be huge.

Yet, 20 points in 15 games as a Panther and physically engaged every night. I’d happily take the occasional bad penalty vs. the passive hockey the Flames play.

Yeah, one player does not win or lose a game all on their own or because of a bad penalty.

If Florida loses this series, it will be because of their bad PK and poor defensive depth (lack of Ekblad hurts huge).
