Anyone else thinking the Flames could have kept up with the Leafs? This north division is so bad that anyone but the Oilers could make it out.

Whoever does make it out is going to be fodder in the conference finals.

With Tavares out and Leafs struggling against the lowly Habs - plus Oilers bounced - North div looking pretty darn weak compared to the rest of the league. We're lucky we seed straight into the semis, and maybe with some luck we'll make the finals - but if you end up against Bruins, Florida, Lightning, heaven forbid Colorado - you're gonna have a bad time. There are a lot of really good teams out there.

I wouldn't say the Leafs are "struggling" v. Montreal. Last night's game was the Carey Price Show. He could win the series on his own with how he is playing, and the Habs still lost.

Now that the Oilers are out, I don't really care who wins this series. It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to see Brodie advance, but then again, it is the Leafs. Either way, whoever is coming out of the North is going to be steamrolled by Vegas or Avs IMO.

Nylander has sure been on fire. Benefitting from all the defensive attention on Matthews/Marner I think. But without Tavares it’s interesting.

Hoooo boy, Galchenyuk is really burning his old team tonight. Two great passes and the sauce on that second one...

What a terrible series

Montreal is as advertised...call it sour grapes but maybe teams shouldn't be in the playoffs over teams with more wins than they have. Get rid of the loser point.

Toronto has bad zone D. Getting shut out by them is embarrassing. Campbell didn’t even have to work that hard.

Well there won't be any hockey games with fans at them in Canada this year.

Poor Rittich

He has to hang around, follow protocol, and watch games from the press box while not getting paid.

I bet he wishes the Flames kept him so he could be on vacay right now

Loser point is fine.

A 3-2-1 systems with 3 points for a regulation win is what’s needed.

This is without a doubt the most boring playoff series.

Not holding high hopes for Jets-Leafs. Jets are a bit faster as a team. Probably a better goalie though Campbell is playing well enough. I could see the Jets employing the same strategy against Matthews/Marner they did versus the Oilers. But Toronto is a lot deeper than Edmonton.
