Updated standings after a very boring Monaco GP. Have to feel for Ferrari, they looked genuinely fast. But in typical fashion only checked the impacted side of Leclercs car.
Couple big changes in the standings! Congrats to Dammage79 for winning the week with 3 correct slotted pics and 8/10 in the top 10. TimSJ falls into 3rd spot with a tough week of only 7pts.
Gundo I didnt see any pics again, and Arcfyr same for you (1st warning). And Agulati..my dude...no pics (1st warning) so a carryover gets you pts but I may want that trophy back after seeing your current standings position ;-)

Yeah, when Leclerc doesnt even start and Bottas is, well, just Bottas it throws a spanner into the picks. Lol.
But in more exciting news...I decided on prizes for this year!! As usual we can let 1st place (most points) get first choice of one prize plus the trophy (from Agulati). Second place will get the other one. There was a minor price difference between the two ($10). I didnt get anything for most correct picks since F1 stuff is $$. Hoping one of us can get too a race next year to grab some gear like the Lauda hats.
Forgot to remind anyone, but if you have a shot to get a prize and havent put in the $10...I'll keep it open to the end of Baku race weekend. I'm short $10...lol.
Race used 2005 7th gear coaster/paperweight from BMW Williams (Webber + Heidfeld)
Race used 2014 suspension bolt cufflinks from Williams (Massa + Bottas )

I know this isn't the place for all things racing, but just need to say that Kyle Larson is a maniac in anything with 4 wheels.
Wins the Coca-Cola 600 last night. Hops in a plane, flies to Indiana and spanks the Outlaws at Lawrenceburg.
If Carl Haas doesn't give him a test this year he's a moron. There hasn't been an American with this much talent since Mario/AJ.

I watched the second half of FP2. They took loads of downforce off, which is great for the straights, but not so good for corners. LeClerc ended up in the barriers. I suspect you can't race well in that configuration, so will be adding some back. Expect them to be a little slower than the FP2 pace. Mercedes is having trouble warming the tires. If they can get that tweaked, they may be alright. If they can't qualy will not be great for them. Tough track, because the long straights cool the tires so much.

Either the Mercs are rope a doping or their cars are not good on street courses. I dont think they're rope a doping.
