The Jets have acquired young defenceman Mathieu Biron in exchange for a 3rd round pick in 08. The Jets needed more depth on the blueline sadly Biron could step in and by the #1 dman on the team.

Biron proved to be expendible with the recent trades the Devils have made and had to be shipped out. The Devils are glad to have acquired an asset for a player who proved to be nothing more than a cap hit.

He's 27 and on his 5th NHL team....Damn!!!

Biron is a huge cap-hit.... and somehow also on a one-way deal....

Well... it's all perspective... I dunno, to a guy like Mark Messier, 27 is pretty young!
