You might be the only one. To be fair he's not the worst ever - roughly on par with Randorf, which isn't a compliment but there are worse announcers to be compared to - but at this point he just doesn't have the stuff. Maybe he'll get better as time goes on, but throwing him in right at the start of his career into calling playoffs on the national broadcast is too much. He needs to spend a few years as a local guy, or on the radio even.

It’s not the start of his career though. Just on English broadcasts. I don’t know if that makes a huge difference. Maybe the embarrassing singing goal call is de rigeur in Punjabi, I dunno. But player names are the same, and he messes those up a lot (and can’t blame age like Cole at the end of his career).
