Underrated player, including so often by his own team.

I cant believe how leaky this Blues team is on defense.

They miss Pieterangelo in a big way.

Negative goal differential (the only one in the POs aside from Montreal) and most GA of any PO team.

Santini, Walman and Mikkola are three of the six on the Blues blueline

removed Pietrangelo, Bouwmeester and Edmundson from the Cup winning team

Mikko Rantanen scores his first goal of the postseason. 3-1 Avs.

Man, I feel like this series just started. Avs looking like the team to beat in the West.

I just don't think St Louis is all that good. Binnington is an average NHL goalie, and the Blues desperately miss Pietrangelo and Bouwmweester from their Cup winner.

That was a one sided series and the pun is applicable here, the Blues were buried in a massive Avalanche from game one on.

Looked up some playoff all-time stats out of curiosity.

Did you know that Nathan MacKinnon is currently 4th in points per playoff games played in all of NHL history (out of players who played in at least 10 playoff games)?

1st is obviously Gretzky at 1.84 p/gp.
2nd Lemieux at 1.61 p/gp
3rd is Barry Pederson at 1.53 p/gp (a Bruin from the eighties)
4th is MacKinnon at 1.43 p/gp

The list continues Draisaitl (1.29), Messier, Orr, Mikko Rantanen, Bossy, Daryl Evans, Kurri...

Brayden Point is 15th, Crosby is 17th, Kucherov is 18th, Sebastian Aho is 25th, Elias Petterson is 30th, McDavid is 32nd.

That number by MacKinnon is only going up. I think he is the best player in the world.
