It's amazing how Mark Stone didn’t get drafted until the sixth round. He literally became a star right after that, lighting it up in junior, torching the Hitmen, then success in Ottawa and now Vegas. A complete player that scouts didn't think could skate.

Stone worked super hard at skating when he was in Ottawa though. Personal coaches, strength training, etc. I don’t even think he’s a bad skater now. He’s certainly better than a couple top six Flames I could name.

Just got a message from an old friend in Vegas, he was never much of a hockey fan but it seems he caught the rave down there because he just paid $1100.00 for 2 seats in the 200 level for tonight's game

I asked him what good seats are going for but he didn't know because he got the highest price available

All the goals were scored in the first period. The Knights second goal was in the second period, Martinez on the power play.

That was the total shots in 2 periods. He let in the 3 goals on 4 shots in the 1st period. It was a Wild 2nd period, Talbot basically held the fort on his own. The shots were 22-1 for the Knights, it was a shooting gallery on Talbot.
