No Ehlers or Dubois and oilers with home advantage (even with no fans) = oilers win tonight easily. McDingus with multi-point night (ok that's a captain obvious prediction). I'll be happy to be proven wrong, but I think the oilers are going to come out flying.
Best the jets can do is weather the first ten minutes straight of Leon, Mcdingus, Nurse and Barrie. Then hit everything that moves and make it nasty- let Connor and Leon know they're not leaving this series without a bunch of icepacks. Drag them into a fight. Guys like Lowry and Thompson need to throw their weight around. Too bad Beaulieu is out for the season.

Just hit McDavid early.
Every time I've seen him get bowled over he's been quiet or ineffective the rest of the way.
It's not rocket science. I don't know why teams give him the kind of space he does out there. Especially early in games. Set the ####ing tone. He's prone to whining and sulking too.

Run Smith early as well. He'll lose his mind and his game. I see Zach 'wannabe Hell's angel' Caveman is back for tonight. He should be good for a couple of stupid penalties as well.

I’m obviously cheering for the jets however if they can’t win I hope they take the body every chance they get and soften the greaseballs up for the next round. Jets in 6 but I’m not really convinced about that.

Soilers are overconfident all hopped up on wins over the Sens but unfortunately they'll be fine until Smith pulls a groin with Dubois and Ehlers out.

This simply doesn't work in the playoffs. McDavid just skates really fast and then falls when he feels anything and it's an automatic PP for the Oilers.

I would absolutely love it if the jets pulled this off, but I agree with the oilers in 6 prediction. Two teams trending the opposite way. Unless the refs fully put the whistles away, including against McD, but that won’t happen.

I was wondering if the Keeper of the Code was back. Perhaps they should award the series to the Oilers tonight. If the Jets can get Smith to move side to side often enough, he may not only lose his cool but hurt himself too.
I think the Oilers win tonight so CBC and SN can completely devote all their coverage to McD and his friends. I mean, there are no other series on, right?

My dream series would be to go to a game 7 then Jets win that one 10-0. Oiler fans would be mailing their jerseys to the arena to get someone to throw them on the ice.
