Sure is nice to have guy like Ryu on the team. So steady, so reliable, so good.

Ryu is such a baller.

Pitching like this and the look on his face is like he's enjoying a nice Sunday picnic.

Don't look now but Gurriel is starting to rake, and when he rakes....he RAKES.

Biggio is also starting to come around, and Teo has been on absolute fire since coming back from COVID.

And one day we will add Springer and Kirk to this.

Yikes.

I'm worried about the bullpen though. So many injuries and they are spread super thin, trotting out guys like Beasley in high leverage is a tad scary.

113.9. He had a 114.4 single earlier in the game. Just unreal stats.

This team is so much fun right now. Springer who?

Solid game. Make it a lot easier when you have a stud pitcher and a good hitting club.

Well that was an ass kicking. I love it

18 friggin hits.

This team doesn't just hit for power, they may be 2nd in the majors for home runs, but they can nickle and dime you to death too.

I love how Vladdy cannot wait to get the shirt untucked once the game is over.

Every time.

So nice to have my other favorite team playing so well considering the abysmal season the Flames just had. Jays are killing it!

There are 7 teams in the AL with a positive run differential.

4 of them are in the AL East.

After tonight's win the Jays now have the best run differential in the AL East at +44.

The White Sox (+72) and the Astros (+55) are the only teams better, but they get to beat up on a bunch of weaklings in their divisions all the time.

The only weakling in the AL East is Baltimore, and the Jays haven't even played them yet.

This makes me nervous. Like “the Flames haven’t even played the Sens yet” kind of nervous.

I’m loving this season though. The Jays are so fun to watch and it looks like they are for real. Need to get healthy though, can’t keep piling up injuries and expect to stay in the playoff race.

So apparently Phelps went onto the 60 day IL. Damn that sucks, he was lights out this year.

Some good news though, Hatch will be making his first rehab start on Thursday in AAA for the Bisons.

Speaking about the Twins, the Jays are still a revolving door at 3rd, and the one and only "bringer of rain" still happens to be very good at the beisbol. Two more years at $21 million after this one, and then a club option that carries an $8 million buy out.

Just sayin...the guy already has 0.9 WAR and still rocks a 138 wRC+

I love JD. And I think he brings an amazing skillset and I look back extremely fondly on his time with the Jays. However I think there is a real emphasis on locker room culture with the Jays and I also think there is a real reason why Shapiro and Atkins completely separated from the entire core of that roster. JD is an odd guy, arrogant (like a lot of ball players yes), loud, and also on his 5th team in not a very long time, he is also constantly injured. Atkins and Shapiro wanted this group to establish their own culture, their own locker room dynamic, to take ownership of the direction of this team. JD would bring his own attitude and baggage that I don’t think this team needs. Just my 0.02$
