Maybe this is the team after intense psychotherapy.

Probably was the lack of goals by the Canucks that cost them the game. Hard for any team to win with 5 goals.

Wait, were they mentally tougher if they lost it 6-5?

Failing to compute.

After watching the first four playoff series games this felt like watching the Jamaican Hockey League.

Why would they have to lose 10 in a row to pick 6th?
They already had the 6th OA pick 5 weeks ago. As per my post.

And as per my post, the playoff chances were never over 20% at any point.
Since April 1, they were never even above 10%.

Markstrom better step next season. Mediocre season from him but I think he can bounce back crossing fingers.

They need to get his goalie coach from Vancouver

Don't worry, I can help you

Giving up a 4 goal lead in the third period no matter what the outcome is pathetic.

This team certainly knows how to find a another level in meaningless games. I doubt that over the last decade there’s a franchise in the league that has a better record in the last 15 games of non-playoff seasons.

It was but he did nothing to change perception that he is mediocre

He should just sit out

They "had" it because they had played fewer games. You realize they had four games after everyone else was done right.

Sportsclubstats is irrelevant

They needed 1 or 2 more wins

The schedule was really uneven so the 6th OA position was an illusion. The Flames had played fewer games than some of their “competitors” and had a bunch of games left against really bad teams, especially Vancouver.

If Talbot can go from his Edmonton performance to his Minnesota play then surely Markstrom with his skillset can.

If there's one more thing they can steal from the dismal Canucks it's their goalie guy.

Can Sigalet. Whether he's working directly with goalies or not, all goalies deteriorate under his watch. How much evidence do you need that he's bad news.

I can't for the life of me figure out our overlong loyalties to guys that deliver sub-sub-optimal results in their positions here. Yes, I have no doubt they are good people ...but...

You need a decade long string of coincidences to figure out its not a coincidence? Even Brian Elliot improved after leaving this team.

It was nice to see Hamonic score on that laser. He was always a good community guy. Flames still got the win, so that is all that matters.

Odd how so many goalies leave this team and go on to be much better. Coincidence of course what else could it be.
