Flames will end the season over .500, with more wins than Montreal, and with a positive goal differential. Also will be in a playoff spot based on Pacific division standings. Rightly or wrongly there is no rebuild coming this summer (most of us knew this anyway)

I've been kind of jumping in and out of this game, but this has all the intensity of a 6AM, just drove for two hours to small town Alberta(Population 30) game.

Calgary will miss the playoffs by 2 or 4 points
One or two wins in this debacle of a season

This the same bull#### Treliving can claim after these meaningless games
They are not a playoff team period

Ryan, Leivo, Lucic, Mackey

I remember Andersson and Boeser jawing it up in a rookie exhibition game. Rasmus was hilarious.

Anyway this is the team that lost to Ottawa multiple times when it counted so to say it’s a given they would win anything that matters is ….

Might want to check the Flames record against the Canucks this season
soon to be 7-2
5-2 in "games that mattered"

I agree there will be some changes with at least one of the core moving but this team is planning g to come back and compete next year for sure. No tear down on the horizon.

As much as these games aren't great for evaluation or much of anything, this game is particularly useless with the Canucks not even competing.
Good warm up for the world's for Mackey, I guess.

I believe the Flames will go 4-0 on this season ending series against Van.
But if they were still alive to make it if they won out, they wouldn’t have gone 4-0.
I have never been more certain of anything. Be it the Flames crapping the bed or Vancouver wanting to stick it to us. We would have found a way to fail.

Thinking we might see a core piece on the move, but wouldn't surprises me to see them stand pat and attempt to fill in the holes.

Little positive prospect segment to make fans feel better when we trade for current players and not picks and prospects in the off season?

Sam Constantino (not sure how it’s spelt) when speaking about the Flames prospects, could make the Covid virus sound like a positive thing.

Flames , always great when the games don’t matter.
Rinse -> repeat year after year.
Glad we’re playing ourselves out of the top 10 draft selection, dressing our main lineup again and again.

Except for these last few games, they were outplayed by the canucks despite having a winning record against them
You can’t assume they would win these games if these still matter
Remember how people assume they would beat Ottawa or even Montreal?

Unless the Flames go 0-2 in the last two games, they’ll pick 12th.
Not a huge deal at this point I guess.
If they’re going to win, might as well dominate and increase trade values.
