Wow, beauty forehand down the line and Shapo breaks again.
Edit: Consolidates the break and leads 3-love in set 2.

Yes, indeed. Need to take advantage of the circumstances.

Meanwhile, Felix was down a break early to Delbonis, but is back on serve in the opening set.

I will say Shapo is playing very well today, not much Nadal can do. While I hate watching Nadal losing, it is nice to see Shapo play so well again.

Damn it, that's a costly break of serve. Denis was up 40-love in that game as well.
Edit: Four games in a row for Rafa as he breaks Shapo again.

Well, that stops the bleeding, but Rafa is serving for set 2 at 5-4

Third set needed - That break of serve was definitely the TSN turning point.

A hold to love is a nice start for Denis in set 3.

I obviously haven't watched enough tennis this year to know, but when did Shapo get his Nike makeover? no more baggy clothes, floppy cap and unruly hair, he looks 5 years older. it's like when Rafa lost his pirate outfit after he got to #1.

He lost the backwards hat a couple of tournaments ago, I like the bandana look.

Shapo breaks and is serving at 3-1 in set 3. Let's go Denis!
Edit: Rafa breaks right back.

Shapo saves a break point and we're still on serve as Nadal is serving at 3-4 in set 3.

Felix lets a great opportunity slip by as he loses to Delbonis 7-6 6-1.

This clearly shows that Felix cannot problem solve. Too often he loses a tight set followed by a thrashing in the next. Once his opponent figures him out, he has no answer.

That was a pretty gutsy hold by Shapo. Didn't let a couple of double faults and a cheering fan deter him from the job at hand.

Huge hold by Shapo, I was convinced Nadal was going to get that break.

Oh man, that Rafa forehand barely made it over and then Shapo frames one.
