What a disaster of a season. Treliving has not earned the right to continue on as GM. He needs to be gone ASAP.

Lockdown and a month full of ####ty options for sports... well don't that beat all. The Oilers will beat the Jets and we'll have McDavid and co. forced down our throats all of May. I hope a mountain rises out of the ocean and we just ram right into it and end this whole thing!

I don't think the teams that the Flames and Canucks could pass would like that very much.

I know this is going to sound crazy, but I feel like this roster does have some untapped potential. Sign some proper bottom 6 players and graduate a few of our prospects.

Hopefully Tkachuk actually spends the offseason working on his game instead of making instagram videos with his brother.

It sounds like fitness and conditioning was a big issue for the team so they better put the time in the gym this summer but I'd like to see what Sutter can do with a full summer + training camp with the core before we head to a full on blow it up mode.

We were done after the Ottawa game before the Sutter announcement. Sitter pulled me back in thinking they could make a surge, but they only surged into a harder suck mode. Like most of their games, putting on effort for only the final panic moments just won’t work.

I like Treliving and thought he built a good team, but it hasn’t worked and he probably should go now. Like his team, his last minute panic move (hiring Sutter) probably could have worked if he’d done it at any of the 3 points he had a chance to add a capable coach that would command player respect.

Without a doubt one of the worst Flames seasons ever. I am so glad this season is nearly over as I really disliked watching this group of players and this is going back to last season. Time for big changes in management as Treliving hitched his wagon to this group and he should be the first to walk the plank.

We can all take solace in the amazing match-up that Jets vs Canadiens will be and that's the only joy I have going into the play-offs.

Well what a sh*ty season that was. I believe Tre and crew will be shown the door here shortly. If they decide to fire him the whole front office better be going with him.

Another year, another disappointing ending for this franchise. Gets harder and harder every year to be a fan. It feels like cheering for a division 2 team in Europe that you know will never ever move up to the premier division. Flames won the cup when I was 3. 15 years later they went on their run to the finals. It’s now been 17 years since that cup run and we are no closer to ever getting there again. What a pathetic franchise.

Looking back at how all of our first round pick regressed this year is beyond anyone's imagination. Starting from Trevling all of the management team are also responsible for this disaster. A house cleaning from top to bottom should be the foundation of moving forward. Goodbye Mr. GM, please leave tomorrow.

Typically I’d agree that “just make it in” is a terrible goal, but this division is so bad that “just make it in” was literally all they had to do.

I didn’t expect this team to be elite but I sure didn’t see them being this bad.

Maybe that’s on me though. This organization is an absolute dumpster fire. There is literally nothing to like here. The current group of players suck. Our prospects suck. We have no future. We have no present. There is literally no reason to be a fan of this sorry excuse for a hockey team. None. Zero.

And a whole new generation of Oiler fans are coming up because of McDavid. That is absolutely disgusting. It’s a disgrace. But it’s reality. Why would any kid cheer for the Flames? They don’t win. They have no players you can’t find on other teams. They have absolutely no appeal.

I’m in too deep to quit but if someone asked me what team they should start cheering for I wouldn’t say the Flames. I’d spare that poor soul.

I’ve been alive for almost 30 damn years and these buffoons have been out of the first round of the playoffs only twice. Twice. In my entire lifetime. Meanwhile I’ve seen multiple teams win multiple Stanley Cups, and not always with the same core.

This organization is rotten from top to bottom. It’s time to gut them. I would fire literally every single person outside of our amateur scouts and Sutter. Every one of them. Gone. Bye John Bean (who the hell is John Bean anyway?). Bye Treliving. Bye Don Maloney (what is it you even do here?). Bye Conroy. Bye Cassie Campbell’s husband.

Of course that won’t happen. They’ll sell low and continue to get garbage draft picks or sneak in as an 8th seed. But I’m so sick of it. Just a truly difficult, embarrassing, and pathetic team to cheer for. I’m so sick of it. Please, for the love of God commit to a full rebuild already.

He's pretty much been a first liner despite getting some of the worst usage on this team: constantly being stapled to our least productive and least engaged middle sixers.
You know before I saw Bennett move to a different team and start absolutely lighting it up like a first liner I would have probably said something like "You know obviously the coaches haven't seen a consistent enough *insert generic hockey adjective* from Andrew and are just making sure he knows he has to earn his ice time." And i would have been been wrong, because I was wrong. This team just doesn't know what it's doing, from the top down. I have lost all faith in this organization to identify talent, put players in the best position to succeed, and just frankly do the right thing. This team deserves to miss the playoffs.

You said it. Wow what a joke.

We're supposed to be at the peak of our contention window but we don't have a legit number one center, a legit number one right wing or a legit number one dman, and now we've missed the playoffs.

Not to mention we are on our 5th coach since the rebuild started.

What a despicable mess.

Can't wait to watch a different roster in person next season. May there never be another Flames season where we play the same teams 9-10 times each with no fans in attendance.

I highly doubt he will be fired at all let alone tmrw morning. Should he be fired? Absolutely. He won't be though.
