Damn, Jake Deiekman is really cool to watch (Oakland A's reliever that came in to get the save). What a great pitcher.

Jays hung in there pretty well against a really good team. I really like this team, and can't wait to see what they can do in the next few years. I keep reminding myself that this year is a bonus.

Well at least we got to see the real roster for a couple of games. Now it's back to black hole Danny and a Springerless top of the order.

What do you mean a "springerless top of the order?! He's just sitting down with exhaustion.

That strike two pitch to Biggio was beautiful.

Although Diekman does have 2015 Texas Rangers stink on him...

Cant be too upset with the loss last night. They were literally a foot away from a Semien 3 run bomb and possibly running away with it. Thems the breaks sometimes. Looking forward to getting back after it tonight.

Tonight might be the one night I will cheer for the Yankees. The booing and signs are on point. This is long overdue and one can only imagine what a full stadium would sound like.

Pearson was taken out with the bases loaded in the 4th, after 78 pitches.

He recorded 10 outs, 8 of them were K's
He gave up 4 hits, two of them were weak infield hits.
He gave up 1 walk on 7 pitches, 5 of which were strikes on the pitch tracker.
Basically getting squeezed by yet another idiot umpire.

He had 53 strikes on those 78 pitches, and like I said that was while getting squeezed pretty hard.

One run given up.

He'll be in the show in no time I imagine. Maybe even next week.

Just stay healthy Nate.

This Springer stuff is starting to annoy me. Call it what it is. If he's this delicate after a month, than something is way wrong and we should be concerned long term. If this is "game management" stuff than say that. The dude makes 30 million per year to play. Not to flip flop.

This is the sort of thinking that breaks a player like Josh Donaldson only to watch him continue to be a stud all-world 3B four years after the Jays mishandled him.

And the one time a Toronto team HAS been exceedingly cautious with a star’s health, it won them an NBA title.

I'm with you on that. I'm not a fan of "load management" as the same policy should apply to even non-star players. Originally I was thinking this sounded like a veiled attempt at load management, but I think there's probably a strain from sitting out for so long. I'd rather they rehab him and get him back instead of in and out nonsense.

Kay does suck. And apparently the Athletics are the most powerful team in the league. Who are these nobody's hitting the #### out of the ball?
