I just want the Flames to come out and beat the Oilers. I want those wins on Calgary's side of the equation when looking at all-time head-to-head records. Those mean something. This game means something. Win it.

The Oilers have put up 7 goals on us twice this season and it feels like we've gotten owned by them. In addition to them being up in the standings and us down.

Strangely enough, we win tonight and the season series is tied.

We got this.

So .....to listen to another Oiler broadcast where the gush over McDingleberry and Dre and the save of thr year by Smith is nauseating.....I just want to win.

Winning regardless of whether we make thr playoffs is important. Winning is way better and teaches you about what's required to do so and is sorely needed here on this team.

I want.to know Darryls message means something . Sutter also has to do some work as this style we are currently employing doesn't sit well with me.

Let's have the puck, it's ours , and the perimeter play and shots has to stop too.

God I hate watching the way we play. Take the middle of the ice back, screen , crash and bang , skate hard , forecheck, backcheck and win.

Hate the Oilers .

Just win dammit.

I want the Flames to do the same as last game, limit McDavid and Draisatle to little or no offence.
So sad to hear the local media lament on McD getting shut down, they have to crow about him no matter what happens.
And they are making such a big deal about Neal scoring a goal, claiming he is going to be a huge difference during the playoffs.

Why did you post this here, of all places?

This is likely the last time we play the Oilers this season. Beat them and beat them up while you’re at it.

Probably be better with Hamilton/Fox vs Lindholm/Hannifin though. Shame Fox wasn't going to sign.

I hope the Flames go full Sutter mode and win 1-0 in regulation.
Just make the game as boring as possible so they have nothing to talk about.

I’d love the shutout just for the fact the Flames would hold Mcdavid and Leon pointless in the same game 4 times this year. Nobody seems to talk about that just connors 5 point games

The frog got 7 tasty grubs in a pecan sauce. Served on a platter of braided grass. Upcoming frog magic win #2!

We’ve been over this a billion times. Lindholm has been our best forward over the past few years and Hanifin has been fantastic. Fox wasn’t going to sign here and he didn’t sign in Carolina so a complete non factor in this deal.

The Flames won this trade, and the Canes won this trade too. Good hockey deal that worked for both teams.

It's that clear, and that obvious, but some people are just never going to admit it I guess.

They're just cocky about the POs cause they're lining up to face the flailing Jets. So in their minds they think they're a second round lock and big deals now.

But if they were intellectually honest, which is uncommon in their parts, they might be concerned about getting totally shut down by the Flames in multiple games and that there might be a method to rendering their offense inept since it presents roughly only 2-3 true threats.

Neal scoring on a total blunder by Markstrom doesn't imply he will be threatening anybody on any consistent basis. Even with a great Vegas team, he was still captain-minus. He doesn't help you, and less so in huge games.

It'll be so, so hilarious when they get swept by the same flailing Jets because Hellebuyck turns God mod.
