I know. Most Croatians held out a slim hope he'd choose Croatia since they were (and are) the better national side. Side note: that was Ivan Rakitic's motivation to join Croatia instead of Switzerland - good move.

When Pulusic ultimately made his decision, the USA missed the World Cup, and he almost certainly would have been included in Croatia's magical run to the Final.

He actually obtained his Croatian citizenship to make the transition to Borussia easier (EU citizen vs work visa).

Alas.

If that is legit ad, that is probably the single most brilliant piece of marketing ever. Or at least up there with the Budweiser Wazzaaaaap.

What a disaster from Navas. City have looked pretty average so far, what a gift.

What a meltdown from PSG since that Navas catastrophe.

you could bet money on a PSG red card once they face adversity. Always just a question of who loses his cool.

If Man City had more fans we'd probably be talking about the Dias transfer being on the same level as Van Djik's. Also kinda shows how just like a lot of things in life luck is such a big factor in transfers. City wanted Koulibaly, got priced out, and had to "settle" for Dias.

I have no idea why Ole persists on playing Rashford on the right?

what a weird half of football. United clearly the better team and should be up, but shot themselves in the foot for both goals. They only have themselves to blame.

King Emery isn't letting anyone win his trophy anyway. Should rename the trophy after him.
