Is that salt I taste?
I've got some salt for you. If you do the math, prior to the Panthers running into injuries at center, Huberdeau had 14G and 26A in 37 games. So he was a PPG player before Sam Bennett arrived. What? How is that possible? You mean Huberdeau is a great hockey player without Sam Bennett? Who would have guessed? You mean Sam Bennett's spike in production is because of Jonathan Huberdeau and Huberdeau's production is not dependent on a guy who hasn't scored with his previous team? Again, who would have guessed?

Again, this isn't about Sam ####ing Bennett. This is about the Calgary Flames and he is not a Calgary Flame. Go FLAMES Go.

Keep it going Flames! A win tonight combined with the schedule remaining gives us a pretty good chance of pulling it off so I can bathe even more in team negatives salty tears!

I assumed they put someone on IR to have the cap space to do so.

Is it called a click on an iPad? Or a poke?

Poke sounds too rough. Should be a tap. They both sound a bit dirty to me suddenly. Best to just avoid the sin entirely and not use the devil's device to begin with.

What is this infernal device to which you refer?

TBF, it’s an IPad with a keyboard. So just no mouse.

.

I'm not interested in further derailing this thread, but centering good wingers is not a guarantee of success for anyone. And plenty of good centers do center good wingers. Bergeron centers Marchand and Pastrnak. No player's production can be taken in isolation. Simple plays do result in points. Crosby himself has a ton of points that are just soft passes to the point.

Leon Draisaitl and Niko Hischier spent their entire rookie seasons with Taylor Hall on their wing. It helps guys like that develop, too.

Whatever is or isn't happening on a line, is always a team effort. The question for any particular player is simply whether he helps his team in that role. You don't need to be the best player on your line to be a top six forward, and you shouldn't be expected to produce like a top six forward in a limitwd minutes bottom six forward role.

Might we see both our favourite weather girl and Lauren making another guest appearance after the game?

2 points back vs 6 points back is a massive difference. This better be written in large print on their bulletin board because this is without a doubt the season changer. Every Calgary Flame better be at their best because Montreal will be coming out hot again. Caufield looks like a heck of a player too, hope the defensemen watched some video on him because he's very elusive.

I hope the goalie watched some video on him. Would hate to lose on a stoppable shot from 25 feet out from him.

Flames won 4-2 on Friday
Flames won 5-2 on Saturday

Either the Flames win 6-2 today, or 7-2 because there wasn't a game on Sunday.
