Dube was incredible.
Gio had a quietly great game defensively, which he rarely gets credit for IMO.
Team has a whole responded well after giving up the 2-1 goal and buckled down to grind out a win in a really tight playoff-like game.
Credit to the refs for not calling anything the rest of the way and just letting the teams battle it out.

Some unwarranted shade thrown at Nordstrom in the GT.
I don't know how you can't like his effort since Sutter arrived. I think he has a place on this team next year, at least on the fourth line.

Keeping it interesting!
Montreal didn’t belong on the ice tonight and the game was still in doubt until the end. Need to put teams away when they’re bad.

That was an incredibly well played game by the Flames. Play like that the next two games and I like our chances.
But Markstrom has to stop being the 2nd best goalie on the ice. Allen lost but I'd easily argue he was the better goalie

Good on Markstrom to settle down and settle in. Sure looked like it was going to be one of those games.

GT was toxic. Markstrom was good enough.

Well, finger retracted from the life support ventilator switch for one more day.
