We dont have a single player, other than Lindholm, with the ability to beat a goalie clean like that. Our offense is so pitiful, and a lack of shooters is half the reason.

Not to impugn the good name of the elite goaltending coaches in Calgary but this offseason should involve paying Vancouver’s goalie coach whatever he wants to get him here.

It is so obvious the core of this team is very broken. They have no ability to elevate their game to win. You have to change out the long term guys this offseason. Gio, Gaudreau, Monahan, and Backlund all need to be moved on.

Funny, you guys were real quiet the last 5 games.
Another game where the Flames score 1 goal against the worst team in the division is more like it.

That is true when trying to make a save as the puck is shot. But I do know that when on your knees in the butterfly, it is best to keep the arms tucked in to the side, for example when being screened and unsure as to where the puck is.
Anyways. The Flames issue isn’t goaltending anyways. They are just not good enough.

Yup. The only one I'd like to keep is Lindholm. Trade Tkachuk for, hopefully, a ransom too.

The Flames scored 1 and then couldn’t produce on back to back power plays. It’s not Markstroms fault.

It’s not on the goalie. He can’t score. This team just gives up. They never play with urgency. They have no reliable offence.
They never use the one timer on the pp. the team is telling management that they are ready for the canners. It’s so sad since the values of these guys indicate they want out and will tank their values to do so.
This season has been an unmitigated disaster.
Is sutter concerned Kelly? He’d rather be ranching at least there hard work gets things done. He won’t have to deal with these Instagram hockey players. I’m kinda starting to hate hockey. So many rich kids. Where’s the desperation? Where’s the love of the game? Oh yeah we traded those types of players for futures.

I think Tkachuk is young enough he can rebound nicely. Those other 4 though have been mainstays here. If you really want to change the culture of this team those four guys have to move on.
