Need the d (not piling on vali that was a tough deflection) to make some plays (passes to each other) in the d zone. Tanev is amazing at this but CGY needs all the d to step up and be clean and direct with in zone passing.

Love the guy. Hard not to like him...think he is a great teammate and kind of the glue the team needs to keep them together. Hi experience is invaluable. Sometimes players bring intangibles that make up for a bad contract.
