We can all appreciate that policing in America is tougher than anywhere else in the world, but it just seems like there is really crappy training methods in place. It's a 13 year old, the kid isn't even going to jail if he gets caught, you gotta be able to defuse a situation like that without going right to the gun. But American cops just seem to have this war mentality where everyone is going to try and kill them, everyone is the enemy.

Hey you know what would make policing a lot ####ing easier in the United States?

Get rid of the ####ing guns.

This was a very disturbing video to watch. Heart broken that a 13 year old was killed.

Going back last page, it is lunacy that fox news is allowed to continue parading around as a news organization when they invite obvious morons with no factual backing on to their show. Dan Bongino, are you ####ing kidding?

How can anyone watch this and be proud to be a police officer. Quit and do something more noble.

Totally agree. The kid didn't deserve to die and I suspect a 13 year old running around with a handgun at 3AM on a school night isn't the life he chose for himself. Carrying a handgun and especially using one in public really increases your chances of getting you or someone else killed (not just by police either). Have to solve the problem on why a 13 year old feels the need to carry a weapon.

The 21 year old that was arrested for firing the shots is a real POS if he brought along a kid with him. All allegedly of course.

From a western perspective, I guess it could appear that way, lol.

Although you'd even have to ignore Mexico, literally right below the US. Some of the documentaries on policing in that country are insane. I saw one on a jurisdiction where it was basically a countdown until you're killed as a police officer patrolling the streets and countryside.

Why should this matter? Police should be getting shot at before they fire back. It's why they wear bullet proof vests. It's part of their job. The same way firefighters run into fires. It's dangerous. If you're not prepared for this then don't be a cop.

And the police are supposed to know they will be shot at? Cops aren't all top titties alpha squad gunmen capable of reading a situation perfectly every time. Why should they have to put their lives to chance so you can feel good about yourself while you have no skin in this game?
