Absolutely incredible work he did in the offseason. I never expected him to look that limber and athletic though.

Vladdy is starting to show how special he is. 114mph single. His double was an absolute missile that sounded awesome. The ball just comes off his bat different. He’s gonna be as good as advertised. Just took a little bit of maturity.

Merryweather hurt now. “Left hip irritation” which, as far as baseball goes, I don’t think I have ever heard before so I have no guesses on duration. Could be a day, could be a month.

Ryu was dealing yesterday, that was fun to watch. Nice to see the team competing but only a few bats are keeping them in it. Need the depth guys to come around soon.
Injuries starting to pile up now. Another patchwork pitching staff. Hopefully the bats come around to offset some of these lost pitchers.

Bases loaded and nobody out and the Jays only manage to get one run on a passed ball by the Yankees. So lucky to even get the one. The fundamentals need to improve if they’re going to play like they can.
