That was an obnoxiously loud fake crowd noise. Woke my cat up from his snooze.

Flames were carrying the play, too.

Gaudreau did not pick up Kerfoot.

The fake crowd audio level is really wack. Sounds like a library the whole play, to a jet taking off in there when a goal is scored.

Get your head in the game Gaudreau. That was embarrassing.

Maybe if half the flames could hit the net, the score would be 4-1

Multiple mistakes burns us.

1. Valimaki gives Lindholm a pass while Lindy is effectively already under pressure
2. Lindholm gives the puck away
3. Stone over-challenges on the short-side placing himself firmly in no man's land
4. No backside support from the winger to cover the slot

Basically a team effort with multiple miscues.

Yep.

You can generally overcome one mistake. Two mistakes on one play? You're in trouble. 3-5? Hah!

It has happened a lot this season. Plenty of good play disrupted by a shift from hell where multiple players just crumble.

Is it just me, or does Tanev look much bigger than 6'2" on the ice?

Yeah, I thought Valimaki was doing very well that shift but he made a bad decision. Even Lindholm’s giveaway wasn’t to a dangerous area. There should have been someone there to receive it, but there wasn’t. I think both wingers were MIA there. No one to take the left wing pass and no one on the right to take the slot.

Yikes - Tkachuk with the cutesy pass in his own zone. All kinds of trouble ensues.

It's his massive shoulders that he's developed from carrying this team defensively through most of the season.

That was all because of a blatant MT give away.

That Leafs cycle was very pretty though
