I doubt I have the energy or desire to sit through another 4 hours of this for the Gray version that's coming out this week. Its just way to soon, and well this was certainly a bit better then the Whedon verse, its just not that awesome to watch another one. I'm hoping they release a 10 minute (this is the stuff that wasn't in the first ZS cut realease)
And does Martian Manhunter go from green to honky?

The more that I think about it, Martian Manhunter really bothers me.
What was the point of pretending to be Martha? That could have been a nice little scene between the two women, and instead it's a scene between a woman and a shirtless manly man wearing a Martha suit.
Could he not join into the fight? Strong as Superman guy? Just a little?
Ben Affleck's offhanded 'whatever' moment during the fifth or sixth epilogue scene was perfect. I wouldn't take green floaty man very seriously either.
Yeah this and the Joker scene were big gripes for me for sure.

Apparently it's almost the same movie... But in black and white. I quite enjoyed the Snyder cut, but can't imagine wanting to spend another 4 hours watching the black and white version.

Yeah when watching it I was thinking about how it would look B/W I don't think it will be very good.
Looks like the Snyderverse is dead before it can be reborn.
I'm not sure how the numbers are being calculated and different third parties have their own metrics but something just not adding up for me. Crave said ZS JL did 1.1 million views but then I see in America it only did 1.8 million views..... That doesn't make any sense to me. Do we 30 million Canadians just love Justice League that much more than 300 million Americans?

you watched it 250k times?

I watched 5 minutes of the black and white version of Justice League last night to see if it added anything to the experience. It does not and makes it worse. I'm not sure why they thought this type of blockbuster would warrant the black and white treatment. It's not an arthouse film.
When they said Logan was getting a black, white and red version I was excited to see it as that would work for the moody, western/samurai feel of the movie. Justice League is not that.

They didn't think it warranted the Black and White treatment....This was 100% just Zack Snyder.
Re-watching DOFP and it's amazing. The Fox X-Men films aren't all great, but man when they hit they hit hard. DOFP, X2, Logan and Deadpool were all instant classics and helped propel the genre forward.

On this, we agree. DOFP is in the top tier of comic book movies.

Even X1 was great. It might not hold up as well as the others, but for its time it was awesome.
DOFP is definitely on another level though. One of the best comic book movies of all time. Up there with Winter Soldier, The Dark Knight, Infinity War and End Game.

Have you watched endgame recently. It isn’t really a good movie on its own. It was an achievement and a perfect end to that era of the MCU but it isn’t on level of the other movies in your list.

If they were going to go all the way with Justice League and doing the black and white they should have redubbed it with the old 40's detective movie dialogue.
Like having the inner narratives like they had. So when Bruce Wayne is brooding.
Bruce Wayne - "I'm working on the one big case see. Its a nightmare when my best friend turns into my biggest enemy. So here I sit waiting for the other shoe to drop, I've got 6 slugs in me, four of them bourbon, when I see my next client floating by my door, he's tall, and green and wears a cape. I hope he can pay me see"

Invincible continues to make interesting changes in the adaptation. I'm really not sure how this series plays to anyone who hasn't read the series. I feel like it might be a bit slow? Overall I'm enjoying it though.

I really liked the first two episodes. It was like no animated superhero show that I'd seen before. The last two episodes haven't held my interest as much but still enjoyable. The voice acting is superb.
