Also love nurse with the borderline third man in. Crysaitl was already in his turtle shell so there was no need to get involved.

The Oilers get away with so many cheap and dirty antics that it's only a matter of time until someone crosses the line and gets seriously hurt.

I like that nurse has to protect a guy he himself punched in the face a few years ago. "get off him", he exclaimed, half-heartedly.

This is identical to comments on their board about us.

While there is merit, I feel like we should be able to throw better shade given that we're smarter, cooler and better than they are.

Personally, since the Flame are so far out of it, I'd prefer that the come out in the next game with taped knuckles, and barbed wire hockey sticks, and dropped pucks made of metal on the ice. Meanwhile Brad could redeem himself by dropping anvil's on the Oilers bench from the cross walk at the top of the building".

Bring Big Ern back for a game to deal with Kassian once and for all.

I guarantee you retired McGrattan is infinitely tougher than him.

You're kidding right, Kassian wouldn't answer that kind of bell. He's gutless. He'll hide behind his bwroken paw.

Kassian also likes his opponents facing away from him.

Yeah, Kassian won't fight Little Rinaldo - he isn't fighting Big Ern. I bet he wouldn't even fight Tkachuk any more - Chuckie's had way more fights now and he's getting better at it.

When Rinaldo challenged him after the Tkachuk fight from the bench, Kassian got enamored with his skate laces.

You're acting as though he's been in the Flames way somehow. Kassian has been the exact opposite of a thorn in our sides. Now that the Flames exclusively lose, seeing him in the lineup is one of the few joys I get out of hockey right now. Chucky isn't much of a fighter, but an undersized Sam would easily dispatch him.

Are stutzle and crysaitl friends? Obviously both German. Cry was flipping the puck at stutzle in warm-up. Given what a d***he crysaitl is I wouldn’t put it past him if they aren’t buddies.

Really good friends. Always chat in warm ups. Took a picture with Drai Stuzle and Kahun (also German)

He was tightening them I think, so that when he kicked someone with his skates, they wouldn't come off or anything.

Do you have to really tighten velcro straps on double runner baby skates?

Spector's latest Sportsnet headline.

"Oilers' record-setting win vs. Senators further proof rebuild is finally over"

No Mark, they can easily go back to being a tire fire in the fall when the league most likely goes back to a normal schedule.

If there's any positive to take from this season, is it has definitely over-inflated the quality of the Oilers.

While pretty much everything has gone bad for the Flames, everything has gone right for the Oilers. Mike Smith putting up 0.922 with a 2.34 GAA for example means he's likely coming back for them next year. Give Barrie a raise!

(If this were a normal year) The North division has 1 team in the low top-10 (Toronto), another in the 12-16 (Winnipeg), one in the low teens/high 20's (Montreal) and 3 bottom 6 teams (Vancouver, Ottawa, some other team). Edmonton is probably in the Montreal range in a regular year. 17 of their 25 wins are against those bottom 3 teams in the division.

The Oilers may be having a good covid-regular season, but they get dummied by any top 10 team in the league, and have trouble with middle of the pack teams. See their 12 of 16 losses this season against Toronto, Winnipeg and Montreal.

Them having a good year just makes their invetiable fall that much more spectacular.

Edmonton is No Good

I think it's great also. They have 25 wins, and once you knock Calgary/Ottawa out of those, they're barely a .500 club.
