Pretty big move. Islanders building some depth.
That takes the Islanders out of the Taylor Hall conversation I imagine - so, step-up Colorado/Toronto/Edmonton/Boston?

So basically a 1st round pick, conditional 4th and two AHL contracts. Definitely a buyers market this year. Pageau went for a 1st and a 2nd last year and a conditional 3rd.

Flames could retain 90 percent on their ufa’s and still wouldn’t get 1st round picks

Had to look both of them up, seems like they are just contracts at this point. Jobst is 27 and Greer is 24. Both seem like career AHLers
