yeah, if those French goons could stop injuring my defensemen, that'd be great FFS

4 goals in 2 minutes, apparently we only score in bunches now

Quote:
2. Ottawa Senators , Vinnie Hinostroza 1 (Paul Byron 1) at 9:07
3. Ottawa Senators , Evgenii Dadonov 1 (Madison Bowey 1, Ryan Carpenter 1) at 10:21
4. Ottawa Senators , Evgenii Dadonov 2 (Ryan Carpenter 2) at 10:25
5. Ottawa Senators , Sean Walker 1 (Kyle Connor 2, Nick Schmaltz 1) at 11:06
Also the goaltending in this game was pretty terrible all around

Quote:
Aaron Dell (BUF), 30 saves from 34 shots - (0.882), L, 0-1-0, 59:27 minutes
David Rittich (OTT), 22 saves from 25 shots - (0.880), W, 1-1-0, 60:00 minutes

Coyotes 5 - Avalanche 4

Wow weird game, Avalanche have a 3 to 1 lead going into the 3rd period.

Coyotes score 4 in the 3rd, while Avalanche score a late goal to make it interesting

Jacob Markstrom (PHO), 30 saves from 34 shots - (0.882), W, 3-0-0, 60:00 minutes

Game Notes
Blake Wheeler is injured at 18:11 of 2nd period (Right Foot)
MacKenzie Weegar is injured at 18:17 of 2nd period (Sprained Right Knee)

3 Stars
1 - Sebastian Aho (PHO)
2 - Alex Killorn (PHO)
3 - Jason Zucker (PHO)

New and Notes

Coyotes John Marino who has been on the IR for a couple months is now healthy. Its unknown when he will get back into the lineup

YES!

Close game but OT win pulled off at home, series lead achieved...

Frederik Andersen (DET), 41 saves from 44 shots - (0.932), W, 2-1-0, 75:56 minutes

Andy- couldn't ask for a better turnaround after game one. Thank you.

Zajac and Hamonic having unreal series, depth paying off along with some of the acquisitions i made mid season. I know Pittsburgh won't roll over too easy but I hope we keep the momentum!

Elliott puts up a huge game to make this an attempt at a series.

Will see if we can tweak things to get a bit more offense. It has been our Achilles heel all year.

MAF finally decided to show up and the Sharks get a big 5-1 win. Big baby Strome and his hurt thumb apparently can't suit up in a playoff game and needs time off on IR. He's obviously weak and will be traded in the offseason.

Bergeron has done a great job shutting down Hawks top line so far and Stamkos has been good offensively centering the 2nd line doing most of the damage.

3 Stars
1 - Kris Letang (SAN)
2 - Patrice Bergeron (SAN)
3 - Marc-Andre Fleury (SAN)

You've been hitting my guys pretty consistently all series- I've been very lucky to avoid an injury so far I think I might have squeezed out all the injury bad luck at once with that pile of d injuries I had at the end of the season.

I am hoping it doesnt go to 7 of course, but I with the closeness of the games that does seem a likely outcome.
On to tomorrow!

Dad would also tie an NHL record for fastest 2 goals by a player at 4 seconds apart.

Good catch lol- presumably he took it in alone off the faceoff? Sim Dadonov is an extremely fast skater lol.

Ryan Carpenter won the faceoff to him and then he probably scored from the blueline.

We made significant line changes that did nothing to ease the shots against. Murray crapped the bed while Vas rested but we're excited to get our starter back in net for game 4 and tie this series up.
