That is the perfect goal against.
Three players with mistakes on the two players who directly make it happen.
Tanev loses the battle while chasing behind the net.
Hanifin let’s Spezza go as he attempts to block the pass (which he fails at).
Bennett doesn’t pick-up Spezza, leaving him all alone.
That’s what this entire season has been. Multiple players screwing up simple plays all at the same time.

Nice and soft by Sam. Not a great choice by Hanifin either.
Just like last night and two Oiler games, watch the already low confidence sink into the toilet after falling somewhat unluckily behind.

Jason effing Spezza untouched before he gets two chances to shoot that puck into the net. Not exactly Holmstrom in front of the net guys.

Gonna blame that on goal tending? It's getting old...can't expect shutouts every game. Guy is wide open in the slot.

I don't get what Ritchie brings. He's big but you don't see him dominate against the boards, or make a lot of punishing hits or anything.
