Before Crave took over the movie network on Shaw, they used to show porn after midnight on the weekends. Needless to say my downstairs PVR is nicely equipped. Not that I ever watch it, because, you know, the internet. But it’s nice to know it’s there.

These guys don't even know uncountable GB of porn are available online for free at literally any second of any day. How are they supposed to know what an external hard drive is? They're out here PVRing tv-appropriate porn and burning CDs!

I have an old hard drive with a few TB of porn on it from 10 years ago when I was single with a lot of free time. I'm hesitant to junk the whole thing because there are still some gems in there, so I'm trying to go through it all to see what should be kept and what should go. It's hard though, whenever I get some free time to do so I never make it very far...

You do actually need to quite careful with saving old internet porn, make sure there isnt anything young on there, the P2P sharing sites distributed a fair chunk of illegal porn without most users even knowing

I was pretty young when I first started watching porn, we had an old US satellite dish, the one that had a motor and pivoted to lock in the various satellites, I also had older brothers..... These "dishes" were pretty awesome for their time (mid 80's). If you knew where to look you could find any live sporting feed, various territorial wrestling telecasts and evetaully free pay per views. We thought to we were done for once channels started to become "scrambled" but my dad sourced a "de scrambler" for someone somehow (I'm thinking an add in the now defunct Bargain Finder publication???).
Anyways back to the topic at hand, the US Satelite dishes also gave us the Playboy channel F4-24 as well as the granddaddy of all porn, American XXXtasy, S3-18, Americas first hardcore porn channel. Christy Canyon, Nina Hartley, Hyapatia Lee were just a handful of the starlets at the time. These movies all had some sort of script, and I suppose a plot and involed minor acting. Now American XXXtasy did eventually go off the air, and we still had the Playboy Channel but a new upstart appeared, the Spice Channel. Spice Channel was an adult network but was all mostly soft core, it was marginally better porn then the late night HBO and sCinemax movies, bonus though that it was available 24 hours a day. These movies were porn with plot but but were the origin of parody porn. The Flintbones, Miami Spice and The Penetrator were some of the titles from that time. Spice did evetaully fade away as well but by the early 90's there were about 3 or 4 full time hard core channeles that appeared, not really any sort of networks or anything just random porn movies of random pornography which dominated the late 90's early 2000's. Scenes edited together, no writing, no acting, nothing, just sex. Then along came streaming porn and the joy of stumbling across a nice f/f/m scene on G2-16 is just a fond childhood memory.
Nowadys my iPad serves two purposes, one of which is posting on CP.

Lol oh yeah I forgot about those big satellite dishes. We never had one but several friends did, none of them had descramblers, so we'd watch the scrambled channels trying to make out a boob.
