Classic game for this season. Goal against first shot. Goal on your own net. Perimeter passing 6 on 5. Forwards have no finish and the team is completely snake bitten.
Team feels stale (like it has for a while) and it will be addition by subtraction with trades in the offseason.

I actually thought Gio played pretty well today.
He looked pretty dangerous throughout.

Flames played a good game. Exactly the type of game a team about to bust out of a slump might play.
Let's hope they don't, but still manage to play entertaining hockey for the rest of the season.
Time to unload some UFAs, sit some banged up players and underperformers, and give some kids a cup of coffee in the bigs.

Glad I'm not the only one who saw that.
I thought his puck handling was much crisper, and his decision making quicker (and better). It'd be great for the team going forward if he can build up his value over the balance of the season.
