Ritchie is a good player just better suited to a 3rd or 4th line role. People are overly critical because he is playing with Gaudreau.

Tough as nails and team players as well. They can play on my team any day of the week. Brett Ritchie as a fourth liner on the Flames is ok by me. He may be miscast on the first line, but it will never be a lack of effort for it not being a success. It’s just that both Johnny and Mony, neither being elite enough, makes it tough to raise Bretts offensive game.
