Going to watch YMH Live before so we’ll see if they play funnier or not. A little streak would be nice here, ya never know.

Remaining games 19 vs Oilers 4. Take all your efforts into the Oiler games and go 4-15. SALVAGE the season Flames.

I have been a die hard fan since I was a kid.

This season with Covid, no fans and realignment is a joke. I’m in whatever mode.

The Oilers can run to the cup finals and I wouldn’t care. Imagine your team playing for the cup and not being able to go to the games, or out with friends in bars, or to viewing parties or even get together with family to watch.

If there’s a year to miss the playoffs, this is the one.

This season is toast but laying down an ass kicking to McHobo and company would be sweet.

I can't remember the last time the Flames had 19 games remaining in the season.

With the season basically being over

Hope they play a strong game against the Oilers.

I'll definitely watch

I’m prepared to watch the Flames suck, but I’ll still hope for a thorough beat down of the Oilers.

This season could be all but done for playoff contention, but I will always enjoy an emotional game. If the Flames can come out and play with some heart and passion, this game will be entertaining. If not, we will be blown out, as we do not have the guns Edmonton does.

Darnell Nurse looks like a Norris candidate, and Mcdavid and Draisital look like MVPs as per usual. Its almost not fair how talented this group is, but laughable how little they have accomplished since Mcdavid joined the team.

The have made the playoffs 1 in 12 years, make it 2 times in 13 years this season.

I hate Edmonton, and it sickens me to give them credit, but Calgary is the most boring, frustrating team to watch outside of Buffalo this year. ZERO life in the core of this group. Johnny/Mony both look like they are golfing already. I CAN NOT WAIT, for these two players to be shipped off to another team. You can't win hockey games when your scared to get dirty. Those two players are the definition of soft hockey players.

Anyways i predict the Flames win 5-2. haha

Well, I mean, the Flames could run the table on the Oilers and make up an easy 8 points. Then with the Oilers tougher schedule I’d like the Flames chances to sneak in...With that being said the Flames will likely lay an egg tonight and squash any hope of that.

Once in 14 years, and they haven't yet qualified for then 2021 playoffs.

Then don't do it. It's easy.

Honestly, people, how can you say “I don’t care”??? In a BoA game, no less. Even if the Oilers were 80-0-0 and the Flames were 0-80-0 and this was the last game of the most miserable season ever meaning nothing to the standings.... Would you not still care to beat Edmonton? Yeah, the team sucks really bad right now. But you still care, don’t you?

Honestly no................not in this circumstance. In a situation where say the standings were the same, but we were a rebuilding team that had no expectations, a win in this situation would be sweet.

In a situation where this core is in it's "window" and are out of the playoff race, and the Oilers are firmly in a playoff spot, it means literally nothing.

I hope they start Rittich. He hates the Oilers, he's ultra competitive, and if McMuffin hangs another 5 points on us again, it isn't against our "elite" goalie.

This season is getting awfully close to being lost, and I am coming to terms with that.

They just better beat the Oilers. At least come out hard against them and put up a good fight. This season may not matter, but it matters to me how many times the Oilers have won a season series against Calgary, and what the all-time win/loss record is. Just destroy them please.

Pat Steinberg @Fan960Steinberg
Optional morning skate for Calgary in Edmonton.

David Rittich in the starter’s net, Jacob Markstrom didn’t skate. Looks like Rittich gets the start tonight, will confirm at warmup. #Flames

Makes sense to go with Rittich, at this point in the season you have to go with the guy who gives you the best chance to win. Hopefully the Flames can pull out a miracle but this will be a tough out. Oilers have that top end talent up front and Nurse is a horse on the backend. Go Flames Go.
