That makes no sense, Philly doesn't really need depth at C and the price would be very steep.

And how do they make that work? Four forwards making over $7M, and all of them pretty tough to move. Adding that $10M salary to the Flyer's salary structure is pretty much impossible.

Buffalo is going to want a premium in that equal cap back dealing him to an Eastern rival. They want the equivalent of four 1sts. Then you have to figure cap. It starts with Couturier, add Konecny, Frost, and their 2021 1st. That is about what it would take for the Flyers to get that done.
