This is a helpful way to teach my 9 year old the benefit of being a fairweather fan.

This isn't the 80s any more - suffering through bad years with a sports team is no longer a badge of honor, it's just a sign of someone who doesn't mind wasting their time.

Man. Doing a deep dive into Markstroms stats and you could see something wasn’t right for his career, mainly the fact he’s never been elite in the main categories. He’s definitely benefitted from being a big guy who can cover up some warts...Looking more and more like Treliving being desperate to find a number one goalie and backing the brinks up. I guess there was a reason why Vancouver didn’t really try to sign him. Here’s to hoping he can play more like early season Markstrom. But this is a Year of nightmares.

The goaltending has been very little of the problem. If the team got it's #### together instead of constantly embarrassing themselves with bad efforts very few people would remember the bad games that both goalies have had.

Goalies are going to have their off games. Hellebuyck has his bad games. They're also going to have games where they get lit up because the team in front of them plays like ass. But just because they let in 3-4 goals doesn't mean they were bad.

If he sells at this point, he’ll be building for the team at least 2-3 years down the road.

Depends on who you talk to...

Referees, goaltending, top players, support players, managers, coaches, scouts...TV announcers.

Lots of candidates.

It appears it’s kind of a team effort.
