I swear, sometimes you can't see things for what they are. That's the wrong call, full stop. There's nothing else to debate. He directed it towards the net intentionally with his skate and the skate swung forward in a kicking motion. Any other justification is just trying to play devil's advocate.

I can see both sides of the kicked in goal personally. It looked kicked but on the replay sure was a lot closer to a redirect than I first thought.

I can’t see both sides of the Tkachuk effort on goal 2. Flames would be well served to focus on what they can control.

Huh. That’s clearly a goal scored deliberately using his skate to put it in. Whether it was a kicking motion or not is I suppose debatable.
