Okay, so a Winnipeg player (couldn't see who) just threw several shots at Andersson near the benches and absolutely nothing from the refs. Not even a shout to say "stop it".
Great job guys. Awful refereeing so far.

It's personal opinion of course but Eric Furlatt has a harsh bias against the Flames ever since the Wideman incident. Every game he refs for us is a gong show.

That is how you know you are watching a NHL game. A penalty there would have made the penalties 3-1, which does not happen. Sometimes the refs feel like calling a penalty on one team, sometimes they feel like calling a penalty on the other team.

The whole point is that when a person is vulnerable, you DON'T finish your check. If you do, it's boarding.
And that one was egregious enough to warrant 5 IMO
