Why are the D so often caught so far up in their own zone defensively? It's not just when they try to fly the zone too early either...
Amazing how much collective speed amongst the D corps has decreased, just from losing Brodie. I didn't expect the impact of that to be so great...

Throw your head back and yell if you get hit by the puck and get a whistle.
Have a drink every time Backlund gets even touched by an opponent and you'll be thirsty into minutes. He's so aware of where he could get hit, he forgets about the puck, another giveaway in the neutral zone last shift.

blows my mind how the rules change game to game. No damn way that should have been a whistle. We've all seen much worse injuries with no whistle. I hate the NHL

Honestly, even though they gave up the lead, I didn't mind that period by the Flames.
No more stupid/lazy penalties though.

2 attempts in the slot in a 30 second time frame. Of course both shots miss the net by 10 feet. This team has to have the worst accuracy I've ever watched lol

I’ve been watching Monahan closely this game, he is just so lost in the defensive zone. Seems to play on the wrong side of the puck. It’s quite amazing for a guy who’s played so many minutes as an NHL centre.
