Oiler fans better hope they do something special this year. McDavid and Draisaitl aren't going to put up numbers like this forever. Their defense isn't that great, this will be Nurse's best year of his career, Mike Smith is standing on his head. This is it.

With McDavid's speed he doesn't even need to cheat for a breakaway off a turnover.

Just so lazy.

Don't worry. Even if they make it out of the north, which isn't likely seeing as how the Leafs completely own them, they'll get absolutely smoked by any of the other elite teams in round 3. Depth, solid team play, and goaltending wins Cups, and the Oilers don't have any of those things.

For that team to have any sort of playoff success, it would require someone other than just McDingus or Drai making a contribution.

Hey, guess what? The offensively inept Calgary Flames scored 4 against that team just over a week ago!!

Hope the Leafs meet the Oilers in the playoffs. Fun games so far. Smith was incredible tonight.

Multiple 'Hawk turnovers to start the period...lead to a couple of 2 on 0 opportunities for the Preds, they cash in on the 2nd one, Granlund the beneficiary. 3-1 Preds.

Noted! My rage against the Oilers likely clouded what you said too.

It should always be mentioned, but Leon “Selke” Raisatl had 3 even strength points, and ended up even on the game. Like how?

Saros was, easily. the best player on the ice at the UC, tonight. Preds win 3-1.

#### me...what a finish between Florida and Dallas.

Dallas manages to tie it up in the 3rd at 3 after Carter Verhaeghe scores a natural hat-trick for the Panthers. So we go to OT.

With less than a minute, Ekblad scores on a 2 on 1 feed from Vatrano. However, upon review he was a half step offside sliding backwards into the zone, so the goal is waived off.

No problem for Ekblad. He get another 2 on 1 about 20 seconds later and scores AGAIN on the play, cementing the win for the Panthers and ending their mini 3-game slump without Barkov.

But yeah, Verhaeghe continues to be a revelation this year. He now has 27 points in 34 games this year after having just 13 points in 52 games with the Lightning last year.

The Coyotes look to sweep the weekend series against the Sharks. They lead 3-0, shutout is coming for Aidin Hill.

The Ducks are in last place in the West, but tonight Jamie Drysdale (age 18) and Trevor Zegras (age 19) scored goals for them. It'd be nice to have that in our team's future.
