Sad that you have to hope for a winner in that series, but I hope so. Both teams have elite forwards, deep backends and questionable goaltending. Could go either way.

Kirby Dach got about 5 1/2 minutes TOI in the 1st period as he returns to the 'Hawk lineup. In between periods, though, he admitted to some lingering discomfort to Olczyk in an interview.

Nashville dominated play in the period, 'Hawks are lucky to be down only 1.

1-0 after 20 minutes. Johansen with a even strength goal.

Seems the stars have finally aligned for the Oilers. Lord knows they don’t deserve it. COVID schedule, terrible division, and Mclotteryball have them winning games. Just a shame they’ll make the playoffs when the flames don’t for the first time in 18 years. It sucks right now, but I’ll take solace in the fact they’ll think they’re good and stay the course only to miss the playoffs next year.

Oilers have one of the worst D cores in the league. The only reason that team wins games at all is because of McGoldenboy and Draisaitl.

Barrie, Larsson, Nurse, Bear may be the best top 4 in Western Canada. Would be better if Klefbom was healthy but he is not.

Haha wut? So they’re the best of 3 teams making them one of the deepest in the league? Even this game they’re getting dominated, but the puck luck is going their way. Take the Pom poms off brah...

If Nurse keeps it up he’ll be in Norris talk.

It's fun to pretend it's otherwise, but the Oilers entire defense core is significantly outplaying every Flames defense combination this year.

It's not just the Oilers top guys, their team is just better and plays better as a team.

And you know, has a system that isn't dump and chase.

Pius Suter finds a rebound, and the 'Hawks finally find a way o beat Saros. 2-1 Preds, 2 minutes to go in 2nd.

If Bear is part of the 'best' top 4 in Western Canada it says more about the other teams than it does the Oilers.

The Oilers simply have everything going their way this year. Its the perfect storm.

But every once in a blue moon the Oilers fluke their way to the playoffs, and then vanish again.

Its the McDavid and Draisaitl show though.

1. you are wrong
2. Klefbom healthy would put them well over the cap

Seems like you are going out of your way to pump the Oilers tires and get a rise. Truth is the North Div isn't very good and they have two players carrying them. AVS or Tampa would obliterate them should they fluke out and get that far.

I am willing to bet anyone willing to put their money where there mouths are.

How did Kassian not get a penalty on that Tavares hit? Left his feet and initial contact was the head.
