Brutal 6 on 4 at the end.

This team is playing 2 (or more) speeds below every team they are up against. Physically and mentally.

Not pinning the loss on the zebras but man I think the reverse game management ERA has officially begun!

The fact that I'm not upset about the result says everything.

Team didn't play well in the first 2 periods, but the reffing was really frustrating.
The big hit on Johnny was a elbow/forearm to the head. Dangerous.

Lucic deserved both his penalties, but Stastny gave Tkachuk a punch to the face after getting called for the trip. Tkachuk also took that big crosscheck on a potential scoring chance late.

Oh well, on to the next loss tomorrow I guess.

Kylington is a long way down the list of possible solutions. But lol every time he is mentioned in a PGT.

I thought Tanev, Hanifin, and Ryan all had good games.

I can't believe Sean Monahan was actually playing tonight. That dude was invisible, yet again.

He is not good anymore.

It’s weird. I wonder what would happen if the Flames played like they did in the last 3 minutes, but, for all game long. Would it make a difference?

Why can Gaudreau only sustain 1 time a game where he skates hard?

If not even Darryl Sutter can get this team to work hard??

The problem is and has been effort. It always has been and it always will be. Blow it up. It’s effort. Know how I know? Watch them. They skate hard..... occasionally, sometimes, kinda? Just a lazy, lazy team.

Best forwards are lazy. Maybe honest to god the laziest group I’ve ever seen in Calgary.

Sutter should be calling Lucic out for the brain dead penalty putting the Jets guy's head thru the boards and Markstrom with no pressure firing the puck over the glass!

Tkachuk had a great look. CH made a great save.

They were in the zone for most of that man advantage. Didn’t think it was brutal at all.

So great that not only was this year's draft class already considered one of the weakest in recent memory prior to covid, but now it's even harder to judge the top prospects with little-to-no game time.

I don’t see a way we improve in the standings. I’m guessing we draft 4th. Come on down Bennett the second!

I hate they did that. I bet it has not been practiced more than 10 seconds. If you are gonna do it, one guy planted in front the rest normal powerplay.

Totally surprised it is their first 4 game losing streak this season. At least they didn't give up. And I saw signs they may be getting close to the "hate to lose" cliff.

Or...the top line for having a combined 4 shots on goal? Lindholm with one assist.

It may be the most Calgary Flames thing to happen.

Flames have an awful year, luck out and win the draft lottery, but in a super weak year with very incomplete and skewed draft intel, draft a dud, cripple franchise for 10 years.

Yay!

Markstrom looks 3 inches shorter and 30 lbs lighter of late. The Flames just have no confidence from the goal line out. And they're out of time.

Hopefully they have some dance partners in the trade department, because that's got to be the focus from now until the next season starts.

What an abysmal season. It's all the worse because we're all stuck at home and looking for anything to brighten our days. I never reckoned they'd be out of the mix this early, and that the games would be so utterly disinteresting.
