This is all about breaking bad habits. Gaudreau is on pace for about 16 minutes, and I doubt we see him play big minutes in the third unless he starts trying.

Hope I'm wrong, but I don't think Sutter is going to be the savior this team needs. Too much of a mess, unless major trades are made.

It actually would make me happier to know that after this game Sutter can’t commit to the post game interview because he’s hosting a 2.5 hour practice. A hard, no pucks, practice. The kinda thing where if you won’t show up to game come skate afterwards then. No group has ever deserved it more. Just bag skate the #### out of them.

I have huge respect for Sutter but I just don't think he was the right hire for this team. We just don't have the right pieces for a Sutter team and the only way we will, we basically need to trade the majority of the players in our entire organization. This is an epic fail and mistake by Treliving and we are taking so many steps back as an organization. I don't buy this needing time to adjust, this is just awful hockey.

Tomorrow F1 starts, and baseball is just around the corner. I can get my care level for the Flames down to a next-day check of the scores on my phone. Worse than being bad, the Flames are now irrelevant.

My primary concern at this point is that we seem to be committed do building this organization a building. Wow to that.

Really, does anyone here look forward to games any more? If anything, they are an inconvenience to watch at this point. I couldn't even get half way through this one before doing something else.

I agree that Sutter is a proven elite coach. That just makes the whole mess that much more depressing.

I think it is 2 or 3 players that are causing the team to give up. Those 3 players should be shipped out and replaced with guys who want to lead.

It's truly the play of someone who doesn't care. I mean, I get the tip attempt of you are heading up ice and think you can get around the defender, at least there is a small chance of something good happening. But what's his end game in that play? Absolute best case scenario he magically chips it two feet over the blue line as he is doing his huge arc he turns around in time to see the puck get pumped right back in.

Step one is to sell Gaudreau at the deadline to the highest bidder.

I disagree, it is high time we shipped out the players and support the coach. Bring in some guys who want to win and are not up playing fortnite. Sutter will be fine we just need a better supporting cast.
