Francis mentions Tkachuk being a future captain..........I don't see it. Not only do I not believe he'd be a great captain, but he may not be around for long.

Just a gut feel but I think the club hangs onto Monahan and Lindholm.
Tkachuk and Johnny will be gone.

Lindholm and Gaudreau on a 2on2, Lindy dumps it behind the net, and Johnny dives in to try and muscle the puck away from the 6'4 defenseman. Bless their little hearts.

Nobody is scoring goals nobody wants to stand in front of the net. Why should they. They might get injured before the next contract. Guarantee MT goes all out next year for the big contract. But it is very clear what he is. He is not a C material
