All this outrage on social media about the puck incident. Are players really this fragile? If stuff like that upsets you, you're probably too much of a wuss to be playing hockey.

Bit of context...player/management poll from Wyshynski (albeit a pretty small one) has Tkachuk and Gaudreau just outside the top 10 wingers in the league.

Isn’t it more vitriol to the players for playing a boring ineffective game and then after 60 seemingly caring more about the puck than they did during the actual game?

The best part about this festering pile of excrement is that Treliving has probably bought himself and the bums on the roster another season to "prove themselves" by bringing Darryl on.
If only there were an award for finishing in the 17-22 range in the standings.

Tkachuk could be leading the league in scoring and no players would vote for him

Let's also not pretend that Markstrom wasn't the second best goalie tonight. He has plain not been good enough since he came back from Injury.

The Flames made him the second best goalie!
I think Gusta... had to make 2 good saves all night. The majority of the Flames shots were easy to see, stop or watch them go wide.
The Flames are consistently passing the puck to a player that is already well covered and expecting that guy to get somewhere with it. They're setting each other up to fail. They have almost zero anticipation.

This is exactly right. And then CP blames the passee for giving the puck away.

So Rasmus wanted a keepsake for their tremendous losing effort, not realizing they wanted it for obvious reasons? What a crock of ####.
I lost a lot of respect for Rasmus, and his play wasn't making me much of a fan lately anyway.

Rasmus is a big baby. I would of had a lot more respect for him if he manned up and said he was angry at the loss and apologized. Instead he sounds like my 4 year old trying to talk his way out of trouble.

I think this is all a huge over reaction, one of the few guys showing some emotion out there. Big deal, no crime was committed, he was pissed about losing and reacted in the moment. The goalie got the puck in the end, no harm no foul.
He isn't a fan of losing, not the best reaction, but at least its a reaction unlike the majority of the other players on the team who just spit endless cliches about 'figuring it out' or 'working together'.
Some of you have lost respect for him now over this? Pftt we need more players like that if anything.

Can Sutter bench our entire top 6 forwards and bring in taxi squad players, because i would love to see this i honestly can't watch this team at the moment they just suck, give me players that are busting their butts out there rather than whatever the heck the team right now is doing

I don't care that he was angry and took the puck. Being angry about losing is good. Where I lost respect is him not owning up to it in the media today and trying to say it was an "accident". That is a very immature way to approach that situation. It seems like most of this team shares in the immaturity. If he doesn't own up to this do you think he takes any responsibility his for mistakes on the ice?

It was a bad moment for sure but it's not like he cheapshot a player or hurt anyone. He's a bit of an agitator and last night he crossed the line but life goes on. Maybe this will be a wakeup call for him.

Can't believe this team drove me to the point of not wanting to watch even when I have the opportunity to.
Even more shocking that they did so under D. Sutter.
I even watched to the end of the Brent and Gulutzan seasons, man. And it's this iteration of the team with this talent and starting goalie that has managed to outdo those ones.
Those were way worse teams. Tells you how far below their potential they've played.

If you want more shots from PP1 you have to have one timer option(s). Cradling and holding incoming passes vs ripping those same incoming passes. If you rip them: goalie moving, defenders moving, shots through (Tkachuk tips), rebounds (Monahan hands) or you might just score (but you have to hit the net).

Actually I didn't realize it was Dube's 100th game. Maybe that's why Andersson grabbed the puck at the end
