At any rate....how he decides to pick Monahan out of that grouping for having the "really really bad year" is hilarious. Unless there is more context unseen of course.

Everyone has sucked.

The next two games are obvious must-wins, but we need a blowout win in either game to really increase momentum and offensive confidence in a lot of our players.

I think it’s a bit random, maybe it’s because Will started at the “Johnny hasn’t scored at even strength in 19 games” point because the last time Johnny scored at even strength was February 11th.

The “top players” on this team just aren’t top players in the league.

Not enough skill on this team. Monahan and Gaudreau are completely useless at even strength, and Lindholm/Tkachuk are secondary guys.

Crazy, a few years ago I would not have thought 13 and 23 falling apart to this degree was possible.

Usually I'm pretty good with sarcasm, but you all do know the game is at 7:00PM ET, 5:00PM here, right?

Edit: Wait. I'm still good with sarcasm, just not so good with reading. Carry on!

If we are up 2-0 in the first 20 minutes we will win. If we trail by 2-0 in the first period we are as done as an Easter turkey.

Go Flames Go !

If Gaudreau/Monahan don't figure out their offensive struggles, this team is going nowhere.

I really, really, think they need to get Lindholm back on their line. I don't think the Lindholm/Tkachuk experiment has really shown to be a offensive driver either.

Gaudreau - Monahan - Lindholm
Tkachuk - Backlund - Mangiapane
Lucic - Bennet - Dube
Ritchie - Ryan - Leivo

To be honest, this is the ONLY team that this team can afford to give up points to, as they aren't chasing the Sens. That being said, this is the only team below them in the standings which means this is the only 'gimme' games on the schedule also.

Has to be an automatic 4 points.

go flames.

I kind of want to see a Dube Bennett Mangiapane Line.
I would like to see tkachuk and backlund back together too.

Would be really nice if the top forwards showed up tonight.

Not counting on it.

Does anyone know, will the game be broadcast in Edmonton tonight on SNF?

What?

What if Montreal loses their next 2 games to the Oilers? And the Canucks lose to the Jets?

Flames should win against the Sens but the season is not over if they lose both games.

I forgot how stubborn Darryl can be. He's not going to get the best out of Gaudreau or Monahan with Ritchie on that line.

If we can't beat Ottawa then we probably should not bother with the playoffs lol
Want too see Monahan and Gaudreau broken up

I believe so. It should be anywhere that would normally get a Flames regional game on SNW.

nah. The canucks looked to have a fork in them and now they're right in the thick of it.

all it takes is a 3 or 4 game streak either way and crazy things happen.

it's a very strange season.

Hating playing the same teams over and over again, but really enjoying all the early starts.
