Honesty Rasmus needs to get enough of that so it doesn’t hit the net or not touch it.... so many goals have gone in off of our own sticks or legs this year. Either block it or let the goalie make a save

Markstrom has really struggled the last few games. Maybe it's time to give the net back to Rittich and let him run with it for a bit.

Puck was tipped, no chance. You guys are killing it with the goalie evaluating.

Yes. Markstrom is getting beaten up over the flutterpuck, and he should have had better position, but Anderson was just lax there. It shouldn’t have been even close to a shot.

He looks awful, I'm genuinely surprised we didn't start Rittich tonight after the clinic he put up the last two games against the Leafs.
You realize they play again tomorrow right

Yes, it's Ward's fault.

He was fine until his injury. Been less than stellar since. He'll be fine.

Sutter is going to be pissed with that first period, as well as a few players in particular.

Flames hooooorribly outshot and outchanced that period at 5v5.

Gaudreau-Monahan-Ritchie didn't even have a shot attempt but had 7 against, as well as 5 scoring chances against and 4 high danger chances against.

That line is an absolute tire fire

I think Markstrom will shut the door the rest of the way.

Really need Markstrom to go on a run like Mike Smith, regardless of gap control by our dmen.

Take every start to the period like it's 0-0. Stick to the gameplan and work.

Blaming Markstrom on the second goal is ridiculous. Rasmus tipped the puck inside the circle. It went post and in. No chance he could have picked that up.

I think we are going to see some major trades this offseason, if sutter cant get these guys to play right, who can. Answer is no one.

We have two top 4 d in Hanifin and Tanev and 4 number 5-6-7-8 D in the rest of the bunch.

Gaudreau and Monahan looking listless. I am honestly tired of seeing Johnny creating nothing the last two weeks.

This line, without Ritchie, has been consistently ineffective for the past 2 seasons. Tre needs to do something about it soon. We cannot limp into the playoff, if it even happens, without a bona fide first line.

Like they did on Saturday?

Backlund had a howler of the shift mid way through the period, I counted three unforced turnovers in our zone. Just brutal especially from a player of his calibre. Team needs to WAKE UP and WAKE UP NOW. I dont know how how else you can get through to these guys!

I have no qualms with that. Crazy to see he was promoted for such mediocrity. I also can’t see the rational behind Jason Labarbara either. It’s not like he had much success as the Hitmen goalie coach. I bet Markstrom misses Ian Clark.

Not sure how it happened but it was left over from earlier. All 10 skaters had sticks when they scored.
